While most alliance news is dominated by the movements of well-known alliances, smaller alliances have always maintained a presence in Utopia. Some are long-lived, while others fade into obscurity, but the struggle to maintain an active organization is at the core of every alliance's efforts.
The alliance of Semper Fidelis, born from the merger of 3 alliances in 2005, has recently been merged into Apocalypse Alliance while SF leadership rebuilds the organization. AA is another long-standing alliance in Utopia, one that has recently changed hands in leadership through a protracted struggle.
The long-time leader of SF, Morgana, cited council and kingdom inactivity as the main reason for the merger. A member of AA Council had been working with Morgana and Ghostwolf on rebuilding SF, and brought up the idea of a merger. Morgana and Ghostwolf agreed to the merger after some consideration.
The announcement of the merger took some SF members by surprise, who felt they should have been given the opportunity to express their opinions. Concerns were raised about the abandonment of SF ways and its possible permanent dissolution. However, both AA and SF leadership stresses that the merger is currently a temporary one while Morgana rebuilds the alliance.
There are currently three SF kingdoms in AA, while several others have chosen to go their separate ways as of now.

We've choosen to do this because we felt it only fair AA and SF be able to retal, which is only possible if we have chained provinces for them to target.
