WITH the expansion of the Utopia universe into a second game there has been some change in the development team at Jolt Online (formerly known as OMAC Industries). Roisin is moving to other projects while Brian and Sean will continue to develop the game we know and love, which is now known as Utopia Classic. Brian and Sean graciously granted us the opportunity to interview them . We are happy to provide the community with this exclusive interview to allow us to further get to know the people who will be shaping and managing the game.
Q: Hello Brian, Sean. Thanks for taking the time to do this. Can you start off by telling us a little about yourselves?
A: Well, we've actually known each other for years, since first year in college in fact. We both did the same course (computer engineering), and went our separate ways for a while after graduating about 9 years ago. Between us we have a wide range of programming experience, ranging from network development to console game development and investment banking back end systems. We're both hardcore programmers, and are working as peers on the team.
Q: You two are in charge of the development of Utopia Classic (UC), taking over this role from Roisin. Are you guys contracted to only build and implement the system or are you permanent additions to the team?
