Abstract
This article examines the mechanisms involved when overpopulation and/or starvation of a province occurs, including the penalties suffered, severity of effects, and times of occurrence.
Overpopulation of a province can be broken down into 4 distinct areas of effect:
1. Emigration
2. Rioting
3. Desertions
4. Restrictions on attacking and thievery.
